Vintage Easter Greetings...Free Graphics

I have been playing around with some images- Here is one for me...

AND one for you :)

I don't like to use other peoples images but this bunny was so cute on this vintage postcard from  which has such incredible images!!!  You will love it!  I twerked- (lol that was a typo but I like it!!) the bunny to make her girly.  You can use this on your blog or make tags or or or....
I am working on some designs with Crosses that are coming out beautifully- just not quite right yet (more twerking to be done!).  I hope you enjoy this one for now.

A Basket Full of Chicks...Free Vintage Easter Graphics

How cute is this?  I would love to have a basket full of chickies!
This reminds me of when we took our daughter (when she was about 3) to the fair and she got to hold a baby chick.  Once she had it in her lap she said, "I'm ready to go home now."   She just wanted to take it home, that's not so wrong.  Don't even ask about the hermit crab story! That will be for another day...

This was from my goody purchase last week at the Antique Emporium.

If you would like the Hen with a transparent background, let me know and I will share the file.
Have a lovely day.

This isn't the last you will see of her...

A Wee Bit of St.Patrick's Day...Free Vintage Graphics

Here is a little bonnie lass for you.  I have given her some red locks.  As you can see she is "starring" in my header.  Did you notice the vintage glass of Guinness Cora is holding?
Erin Go Bragh :)

Here is the original:

She comes out of my falling apart Victorian Scrapbook.   I hope you like her.  She could be so cute decoupaged or transferred in a little reading nook.  If you are the type that likes to project things on the wall and paint them (isn't everyone?)  she would be great on a wall of a little girl who loves to read.  If You would like the "bonnie lass" with a transparent background let me know and I will share the file.  I just don't want to  post files up when no one is downloading them ;)
Ta ta for now...

Printable Project (part 2)...Free Vintage Graphics

Here is a new version of the Composition Notebook cover.  I used a lighter grey and gave the stamp a shadow.
Here is the example of the Family name:

And here is the frame image with a transparent backgound.  You can download the file.  If you have any form of Photoshop you should be able to open this image and make a brush from it.  Just google "how to make your own brush in Photoshop ____ (insert your version)  and you will find 100's of tutorials :) Then you have tons of color and design possibilities.

Don't forget to spread the sharing love and link back to me.
I sure would love to see what y'all are making with these images---hint hint Comments?  Anyone?  Anyone?  Buellerrrrr...

Printable Project...Free Vintage Images

This is sized to fit a composition notebook
Paying homage with the typewriting font- I know it doesn't really make sense but just go with it :)
This is for a book 9.75" x 6.75"- Cut 'er out, slap on some glue and voila!  Beautiful note taking will abound!
I took an image from an old book binding and made a "brush" in PSE11.  I thought it turned out quite pretty.
You could also write the year est. in the small frame and a last name in the larger frame, and frame it for a newlywed gift.  I will post an example tomorrow because I truly am bleary-eyed! Please excuse the poor grammar.

Vintage Style Save the Date Ad Card...Free Vintage Images

I mentioned my new "old" goodies yesterday.  This is an old trade card from Boston and Lowell Clothing Company.  I thought it would make a really cute "Save the Date" card because it looks like they've been smoochin' ;)  The way the red ink originally printed on the card appears smeared on both sets of lips! Hubba Hubba!  Oh no!  Did I really just say "hubba hubba"?!  It's not my fault... it's this crazy blog!  It makes me type words like "smoochin'" and "hubba hubba". and YIKES
Did I also mention how I love how it's title, "Here we go."?
Perfect for the exciting adventure we know as  "Marriage".
This last image I "cleaned up" the font and added a few lingering dots (you can find the font free here at the best font site ever and then should donate to nicksfonts -he is one of the original amazing fontmasters
These are all 300 dpi so should print out nicely.  Please let me know if you use any of my images and link back to me.  Also, I sure would love to see what you've done!! And I adore special requests!!
Here I go...

P E A C E...Free Vintage Images

I found a few goodies today at the downtown Antique Emporium.  Don't you just love antiquing?  Seriously, I find it so relaxing.  Probably because I have so many fond memories of special times with my grandmother and mother (my mother and I still love to go!).
There were so many great things today it was hard to chose.  Alas, I did.
Here is one; "PEACE by GG Fish photographed and published  by J.P. SOULE".
It's gorgeous and I am so happy to add it to my collection and to share it with you.

Sweet Sundays...Free Vintage Images

This is gorgeous graphic from my antique Bible in which I can't locate the publishing date.  There are family names with birthdates in the 1800's.  I am amazed at the retained bright color of the beautiful tissue-covered graphics.  Absolutely stunning and my scan just won't do it justice but I tried my best to share.
The First Fruits
Isn't she lovely?
A sweet reminder to give my best to God.  How I wish to do better...
 Sweet Sunday, dear friends.

Vintage Valentine Printable Project...Free Vintage Images

Vintage Valentine's Printable Pinwheel
Supplies-Forget about the hammer and tacks!!

These are both designed from vintage images from my own collection :)

These should print as 6x6 squares.  Click on them and then click to open in new window.  Right click to save to your computer.  I used regular "Xerox" brand printer paper (thank you, Costco).  It is harder to work with cardstock- I tried it!

Here is where you can have some fun!  Ideas for the center?  A heart, little flower, old earring, charm, glitter,  chipboard letter, etc... You can use any ribbon.  I thought twine (burlap kind) would have been cute but I am all out right now.  Seam binding worked well.  Lace could be pretty!!
PLEASE send me a picture of your finished product!  I would love to see what you do :)

L is for the way you Look at me...Free vintage graphics

I just love this song L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole from His Very Best .  I wanted to make something with these lyrics and had a great vintage postcard where I extracted the frame.  I got the chalkboard idea from all over the web but ended up here at Nest of Posies. What a great blog!!!
Here it is in a blue frame:
