Swimsuit Illustrated...LOOK OUT! Free Vintage Graphics!

Let's get one thing straight -I absolutely adore my girlfriends. And I am HORRIBLE at keeping in touch with them, but the one's that can tolerate my downfalls are remarkable. The bond we ladies share is just something I could never live without and I feel extremely blessed by all of my beautiful friends. This picture speaks volumes to me. I mean, these ladies are having fun and getting silly just like any other bunch of gals would do today (and they don't even have to bare their chests!). Of course, the swimsuits--are they swimsuits or are these ladies just jumping in the sea in their clothing? If they are swimsuits, they sure were a bit cumbersome, wouldn't you agree? Swimsuit Illustrated - Watch Out!!! I love the girl at the top, sitting upon the shoulders of her girls... you know you have a friend like that--petite and adorable, always ready for a bit of fun. I don't want to think about what would happen if I sat upon my friends' shoulders (I am laughing aloud and cringing at the same time as I type this!) What a fabulous memory these girls created that day on the shore--a bit controversial, maybe? Even scandalous? I cherish my scandalously controversial times with my girlfriends...at least the ones I can remember!!! Oh, how I love the days "When Good Fellows Get Together".

A Doe, Adieu, a Free Vintage Graphic...Ray...A Drop (you get the picture)

This is such a pretty French postcard. It is embellished with ribbon and victorian scrap. Is that someone's name in glitter? I googled (oh, come on! Everybody does it!) EAEN and it is listed as an English boy's name meaning "God is gracious". Just a little interesting info for you and me. I love cards, you just can't convey a message like this via email, my little addicts!!

Now for the flipside...The possibilities of this image are endless. If you use it for your art, please share!! I would love to see what y'all are coming up with.

I bid you adieu, mes amis...Maybe more tomorrow

The Big Ribbon! Mum? Neti Pot? Free Vintage Graphics

Being that I am not from around these parts, the homecoming mum was new to me. This is what the top image reminds me of. The red victorian chair was an afterthought. I wish I had a lovely image of a nose...as that is all I can think of right now. I am fighting a sinus infection (hence the mention of the neti pot-gross, but fabulous!) after my trip to CO. This is traveling to my ear which only makes me more deaf than I already am. My kids are not sympathetic. I just love summer. Enjoy the images, there are many more to come! *sniff sniff*

Vacation Make Up Days!! Free graphic treasures-a-plenty

Wow! I sure have missed y'all! I just returned from my Colorado Vay-kay (I never ever talk like that!) and had the best time EVER with my family! I also bought a whole stack of "Godey's" from the 1800's with some fantastic images to share. So, please be patient as I work my magic scanning and touching up and you will be rewarded!!
