Relacore, anyone? It was actually suggested to Derek and I to reduce our cortisol levels from stress. Stress? What stress? Just kidding, for those of you who personally know me, you know we have had our share! For those of you who don't, just trust me. I LOVE The Food. All kinds of The Food! I really love chocolate. I mean, really. I just got over pneumonia and you know how some people can't eat when they are sick? Not me. Of course, not me. I wanted soup but with a side of chocolate with each meal. Anyhoo (I don't know why I typed that, I would never say that in real life!) but anyhoo anyway, I have packed on the L.B.'s people. Oh, the days of the mid drift. I hope they NEVER EVER come back!!

Day two of Relacore. I actually think it does make me in a slightly better mood. But that won't stop me from eating. I like to eat if I am sad or happy! I am too ashamed to post a before picture- and plus it would horrify my 13 year-old daughter! But it's not my fault!!! Hee hee. I will tell you what it does in seven days. I am going to Warrenton tomorrow and I will be sure to post some pictures for all of you antique lovers. It is an incredible antique show! Bye!!

A Car + 10 Shots of Tequila + 12 Beers...NEVER Works!!! How About Teeth Whitening Strips?

God gave me an amazing teaching opportunity Friday at midnight thirty: I had taken my daughter and her friend (both 13 year olds) to the midnight Twilight DVD release party at Hastings. On our way home we were talking about perverts (long story) and turned North onto Loop 337 (the two way road toward home). (see link for street view but head N)



Up ahead, going my same direction, I saw a car swerving back and forth and said, "that just makes me want to call 911" The car then swerved off to the right like it might stop but then over corrected and ended up on the wrong side of the road where it continued to drive in the wrong direction. I had my phone in hand calling 911 for fear of what might happen next. Before I could manage to call, a car came from the other direction towards the drunk driver and we were now watching a potential head on collision.

I realize my words cannot express how terrifying this was -VERY scary! Especially when you have children in the car

The oncoming car tried to avoid the drunk driver but the DD managed to hit the back of it and send it into a spin. The DD then took off!



Meanwhile, 911 is ringing (no one picking up!) and being the fantasy CSI that I am, I head off to pursue the DD. As we come up closer to the hit car we see that it is a NB Sheriff's vehicle!! I frantically ask him if he is okay as he is surveying the scene while calling on his radio. He is, so I proceed to follow the DD (keep in mind this all happened way faster than I can explain it). The drunk had not gotten very far- he crashed into the guard rail about 400 yards ahead---STILL on the wrong side of the road.



The girls were pretty freaked out and I immediately said to them (and realized I was sounding like my mother), "This is why parents do not want their kids (teens) out on the road late. It's the other people you have to worry about!" All of our adrenaline was pumping like mad.

Thank God that we were not involved and that the officer was okay! That is the first time in my forty years that I have actually seen a car as a weapon.

...So, what about Teeth Whitening Strips? Let's see if I can turn my teeth into a weapon- a

wickedly bright smile!!!

One More Day 'Til Halloween, Halloween, Halloween...

Sorry! I already had my latte and was thinking about how we only have one more day until we are finished with the PED EGG experiment. My title is from a song in the movie "Halloween 3" (I had to look it up). It just poppped into my head (doesn't that happen to you?) It's from back in the day when scary movies were a fun event with friends...MANY years ago, or as my son likes to say, "the olden times"!

Any ideas on the next experiment? My friend and I are going to try "OAMC" (Once A Month Cooking) to try to save money---I know...super exciting!!!!!! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO TRY, PLEASE!

Good morning, People. I have been doing a bit of research and wanted to improve the Ped Egg list. I am learning a ton of info about optimizing my blog. I read that I should bullet my list. Here goes:

Ped Egg PROS (so far):

• Easy to use
• Comfortable to hold
• Easy to clean
• Smooths your feet evenly

That is much easier to read.

Ped Egg CONS (so far):

• Ugly
• the name
• Price- $10 is a bit much in my opinion for what it is

Listen, I can't believe I have locked down this blog into one topic of things working. What was I thinking? There is just so much more than that. And the title? I am more creative than that! So, here I am on Day 4 already planning a change. But, change is good...right?!

Does the PED EGG really work...

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post yesterday (I assume you were waiting eagerly) it was just one of those days! Besides, I was going to use the Ped Egg after my shower but the instructions say that your feet should be dry and free of moisture. So I figured I would wait for Sunday.

On to today: I just finished using the Ped Egg (by the way, I hate the name after typing it so many times)

My first impressions are good with this little device. Like I said, I am really giving it a tough challenge to tackle. Talk about dry feet...definitely pajanchajera!!! The Ped Egg feels good in my hand and it isn't awkward to try to do the outsides of my feet. I find with the "callus shaver" (the one that shaves wood chips off of your feet) I can never hold it right, get anything even, and it is awkward to do the outsides of my feet. So, so far so good. I feel like it is definitely smoothing my heels and dry "callusy" spots. I am going to try to be consistent and use it all of this week and will share the results at the end of the week.

I think I forgot to mention that I purchased "Smooth Away" when I bought the Ped Egg. I don't think it will work, but I am going to try it out. I especially like the part in the commercial where a man uses it on his chest hair and his chest is all red! Maybe I will try to convince Derek (my dh) to let me try it out on him first! Hee hee, this blog is going to be fun...

Up All Night

Good late morning! After the huge excitement of creating my first blog, my mind was racing with ideas. Of course, now that I am awake, I do not have the wit that I heard in my head. I wanted to share a story about a friend who I will (for the sake of privacy) call "Glitter". One day Glitter and I were talking about our feet...
**Now, if you have a weak stomach or feet gross you out, you may not want to continue.**
As I was saying, the state of our feet was completely horrible. We found the conversation rather funny and through our laughter were able to share a couple of things: My family lovingly refers to my feet as "hooves". I shared this with Glitter and she went on to tell me about how her husband (who I will refer to as Rolondo) referred to her feet as "Pa-jan-cha-jara" (proper spelling Pitjandjadjara) after an Aboriginal tribe that goes barefoot. We think it is a great description of our dried out feet! This leads me to the first "Can This Really Work" challenge...Hold on to your seats... the PED EGG! It's my first time...

I have been working on my blog for two hours now and thought maybe it is time to post! No more putting it off! So...here is my first post.
